About Us

Heron Creek Farm is a full service training and boarding facility focusing on hunters and jumpers. Our facility includes 8 large grassy fields with safe 4-board fencing surround the center aisle barn with 12×12 well ventilated, fully matted box stalls and climate controlled tack and feed rooms.  Next to the barn is a large ring with all weather footing and lights for riding in any weather or time of day.

Kathleen DeHaan Renfro

Kathleen rode with Meg Escalle and Pam Baker as a Junior on the A circuit with her large pony, Cat in the Hat. After the birth of her daughter, Taylor, she became certified in Equine Sports Massage Therapy. Kathleen now trains both hunters and jumpers, concentrating in creating a strong base in dressage, as well as coaching riders, also concentrating on creating lasting correctness for the equitation, hunter, and jumper rings. Kathleen focuses on horsemanship, safety, and sportsmanship in hunt seat equitation and hunters; building a strong foundation with the basic principles of dressage.
